After law school, Greg attended the University of Denver obtaining his second law degree, an LLM, in 1983. Greg is a member of both the Texas and the Colorado Bar Associations.

In 1983, Greg moved to Houston and took a job with a boutique law firm as an associate. A few years later, Greg opened the Baumgartner Law Firm and started his personal injury litigation career.

Over the last three decades, Greg has fought to secure the financial future of families who have lost a loved one or individuals who have been seriously injured. Along the way, Mr. Baumgartner is received numerous awards and accolades for his work as an attorney.

Some of the highlights of Mr. Baumgartner’s accolades include:

However the most important element to Mr. Baumgartner’s practice is the personal relationship with his clients that continues to grow.

Many years ago, Greg limited his practice to personal injury litigation and now has limited his clients to those who are seriously injured and families who have lost a loved one in a wrongful death accident. By limiting the number of cases, Greg is able to devote the time and attention necessary to fight to maximize compensation for his clients.

Greg and his wife Stacy have two sons who attend school in northwest Houston at Cypress Creek high school. The Baumgartner family has always sought to give back to the community by supporting local charities such as the MS Society (MS 150) and also such charities as SIRE and the Houston 100 Club and Local youth sport teams and other charitable organizations. The Baumgartner family is also extremely proud of the Panhellenic Building at Baylor University bearing Stacy’s name.

On a personal note, Greg Baumgartner takes great pride in mentoring young men who do not have an active father figure in their life and he also offers college scholarships to help motivated young people obtain a higher education. Greg coaches youth sports teams and values the opportunity to interact with today’s youth in a positive manner.

The most rewarding part of the practice of law for Mr. Baumgartner is the personal relationships built with clients over the years. Many severely injured victims and their families have become lifelong friends of the Baumgartner family.

Another fact that Mr. Baumgartner’s extremely proud is that defense lawyers frequently refer family members and friends to the Baumgartner Law Firm for representation after a serious injury accident.
