Fast And Furious Actor Killed in Car Wreck – Speed a Potential Factor

Written by greg on December 1, 2013

Paul Walker the famous actor who stored in the “Fast and Furious” series of action movies has apparently died in a car accident. According to a report by the LA Times, investigators are exploring whether speed played a factor in the fatal accident.

As with many single vehicle accidents, the number of factors that could have caused the crash is much smaller than when there are other vehicles involved.

According to the reports, the actor was a passenger in a Porsche, which crashed into a light pole and killed both occupants. A report by CNN, says that investigators said that speed was a factor in the wreck. The actor apparently had just left a charity function, that he was involved with to help the recent typhoon victims.

The Porsche apparently burned in a car fire which left little of the vehicle after the fire.

The actor was extremely talented and only 40 years old at the time of his death. It starred in many movies but made a name for him in the box office bonanza brought upon by the Fast and Furious series, which involve high-speed driving and fast cars.

Perhaps this tragic accident can serve to highlight the dangers of speed for younger drivers who have proven to be the audience of the popular movies.

The saying that “speed kills” is as true today as it was decades ago.
